Our wonderful heroine secret factory worker Bette passed away early this morning. She was a perfect speaker for all those workers who gave so much for our freedoms. Many will remember her from our film where she had audiences in such laughter and many tears with her stories of life during the war. We became such good friends with her and her family, so grateful to have seen her just before Christmas and had a lovely time together.
May she rest in peace with all those who went before her, I am sure she is looking down on us all with that beautiful magical smile. We will miss her so very much. Our condolences to her family and friends, she will be remembered forever.
